      The quality of this furniture was outstanding and fairly easy to assemble. The flame is very realistic. I had one issue with the remote and the temperature adjustment. However, one call to the Dimplex tech support and all was well with a simple fix.

      we received the unit and put it together. It was easy to assemble. When we got it together we noticed patterns of holes punched all over it. We returned it as defective and received another only to find that there were holes in that too. According to the manufacturer it is supposed to look distressed. It doesn't. I've seen distressed furnature before. This looks like someone used a hole punch or drove nails into it in a repeating pattern. We have filled the holes with putty and it's not too bad. The fact that it was distressed should have been in the description with a close up of the panels. Overall it is a nice piece.

        Adds warmth and beauty to any room. We have this beautiful piece in our familyroom. Provides adequate warming to the room. The only cons is access to the lightbulbs and air filter-firebox must be partially disassembled!
        An ample mantel allows for a variety of decorating ideas.

        The product helps me save on electricity during cold spells by using the heat from the fireplace and keeping the rest of the house cool. Very comfortable temperature for sleeping in the bedrooms but very cozy in the living room with the fireplace and best of all no ashes to clean up the next day.
