Classic English style and warmth in a rich mahogany brown finish define the Southern Enterprises Sussex Braid Electric Fireplace. Elegant columns on either side of the firebox are understated with subtle braided trim that is repeated in an arch design above the firebox.

The Sussex Braid Electric Fireplace features a fan-only mode for four seasons of enjoyment, and comfortably heats a room in minutes during the colder seasons. Two heat settings allow you to adjust the temperature to your liking: the low setting offers 750 watts/2,500 BTUs and the high setting offers 1,500 watts/5,000 BTUs. The fireplace plugs into any standard wall outlet, has a safety thermal cutoff, and is ETL approved.

This wonderful electric fireplace features a patented flickering flame effect and ember glow log set that offers the effect of real wood, and the brightness and flame size are adjustable. The fireplace emits no smoke, no odor, no sparks, and no ash, so you won't have any of the mess of a wood-burning fireplace. It is also 100 percent energy efficient and eco-friendly, emitting no emissions or pollutants.

The Sussex Braid Electric Fireplace mantel supports up to 85 lbs.* and produces no combustion - the glass remains cool to the touch. The fireplace includes the mantel, metal firebox, log set, faux coal cinder, and screen kit. Assembly required. Dimensions: 42W x 14.5D x 42.75H inches.

*Warning: Positioning anything on top of the fireplace mantel poses a degree of risk, especially in the case of electronic appliances or equipment.
