We have the insert in our sunroom....it is beautiful and flames are very realistic BUT do not expect much heat unless you are standing right in front of it. It is worth the price just for ambiance!

I really like this fire - the flames and glowing logs are realistic and are especially attractive when all the room lights are off. My room is about 20 x 17 with the fireplace at one end and no ductwork from the central heating system. It takes a while to warm the room, but after an hour or so is very comfortable. The best part is the remote -click- instant fire.
