Inspired by traditional Greek architecture, this mahogany-finished gel fuel fireplace uses ribbed columns to enclose the firebox and support the decorative arch with keystone. Bookcases on each end offer storage and display space for books, collectibles, and favorite curios. Each three-shelf bookcase shares the same contemporary molding as the fireplace.
The Marcus Plantation Gel Fuel Fireplace requires no wires and makes no mess. To create a realistic fire effect, this fireplace is designed to hold up to three gel fuel cans (not included) camouflaged by the included log set that flames and crackles like real wood. The clean-burning gel fuel cans emit no smoke, no odor, no sparks, and no ash, so you won't have any of the mess of a wood-burning fireplace.
The Marcus Plantation Gel Fuel Fireplace mantel supports up to 85 lbs.*, and each can of FireGlo gel fuel produces up to 3,000 BTUs of heat and burns for two to three hours. The fireplace includes the mantel, metal firebox, log set, faux coal cinder, and screen kit. Assembly required. FireGlo gel fuel is sold separately. Dimensions: 41.75W x 14D x 42.25H inches. With bookcases, fireplace is 68.25W inches.
*Warning: Positioning anything on top of the fireplace mantel poses a degree of risk, especially in the case of electronic appliances or equipment.
